8/13: AMERANOUCHE


Warning: Prolonged exposure to Ameranouche has been known to bring out ones inner gypsy.  Symptoms include snapping fingers, stomping feet, consuming excessive quantities of wine, and growing intensely passionate.   Ameranouche plays a distinctly modern version of “gypsy power jazz” that owes much to the great Django Reinhart.  Come join them for an evening of high-speed continental pleasure.

Saturday Night’s Alright at the DAC!  Our toothsome Cabarets will offer the entree of some great Portland bands alongside such entertaining appetizers as a belly dancer, snake charmers, magicians, and all manner of other performers for a four-course frenzy of entertainment that is part talent-show, part side-show, all good times. So come on down, crack open a bottle of wine (BYO), cut yourself a wedge of cheese, and set your feet stomping as we burn the late-nite candles right here in Denmark.
