CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS Summer 2008

June 28 at 2pm Mary Kaye with Professor Von Wienerschnitzel and his GRAND experiment!

Award winning children's music recording artist MARY KAYE and her comic cohort Professor Von Wienerschnitzel (David Kaye) have created this wonderful 50 minute show designed to entertain children and their families. Filled with songs from Mary Kaye's three nationally acclaimed CDs, the show also includes juggling, magic and other antics by Professor Von Wienerschnitzel as he pursues his "grand experiment." The Professor has created a special machine that will allow him to defy the laws of gravity and make objects float in the air. Nothing works out the way he had planned, however, and despite his valiant efforts, Professor Von Wienerschnitzel is about to give up. Thanks to the encouragement of Mary Kaye's songs like I Think I Can, the Professor decides not to quit. In a rousing finish, and to the delight of the audience, he finally succeeds! Filled with toe tapping music and lots of laughs, the performance has proven to be a hit with the entire family.

This program is FREE to Denmark residents, with thanks to the Town of Denmark.

KIDS' MUSICAL THEATRE EXPERIENCE
August 4-8 and 11-15, 9am-noon
Kids' Musical Theatre with Mary Bastoni Rebmann will run for two weeks this year. This fun morning day camp gives kids ages 5-15 a chance to sing, act and move in a very supportive environment. Each student has a part in an original play written by Mary Bastoni, complete with songs (also written by Mary), costumes and a wonderful set. Last year, the kids did a fantastic job acting and singing, and the play was a big success! The Musical Theatre day camp culminates in a performance for family, friends and the community on the afternoon of the last day.

This program is FREE to residents of Denmark, thanks to Town support. For more information, e-mail info@denmarkarts.org or call 452-2412 (leave a message and we will return your call).
