Our Mission
The Denmark Arts Center (DAC) is a community arts organization and performance venue that strives to be a unifying force for creativity in the foothills of western Maine. Through music, theater, visual arts, educational programming, and family-centered offerings, we inspire joy, growth, creativity, and connection through the arts.
Our Vision
Denmark Arts Center (DAC) strives to be a force for creativity in Maine’s western mountains region. DAC is continually expanding programs in music, arts, and theater. DAC works on developing our educational programs and reaching more people, young and old, near and far.
Altruistic
Our priority is to develop diverse programs that support the education and cultural enrichment of our community with a respect for each other and humanity.
Ecological
DAC strives for sustainability and respect of our historical roots including the building the land and the environment we inhabit.
Experiential
DAC provides a place for artists to share their work with audiences creating uplifting, thought-provoking, and inspiring experiences.
