JAZZ & THE SPOKEN WORD SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 AT 5PM 2026
A poetry/music collaboration created April 2025. The program includes some pieces which have a strong blues jazz element. There are a few pieces that are contrapuntal readings - with multiple voices - including one by the Canadian poet, Robert Bringhurst. Several of the pieces are duo or trio performances with two pieces involving all performers. (Performed at Dimensions in Jazz series at Portland Conservatory and Belfast Poetry Festival August 2025).
