PARK SERIES: MANGO GROOVE FRIDAY, JUNE 5 7PM 2026
A new world of rhythm, melody and movement is all part of the Mango Groove experience. Mango Groove plays a variety of dance music -Calypso, Reggae. Jazz, Motown and more all with a Caribbean flavor that only the uplifting rhythmic sounds of a steel band can create. Performances also include Afro-Caribbean drumming inviting the audiences to learn the dances, do the limbo, or just "jump up" and join the fun.

Bailey’s Mistake Friday, July 10 7pm Bailey’s Mistake is a not-quite-traditional, Celtic-inspired, four-piece folk band from Maine. The group mixes traditional music from Ireland, Scotland and Newfoundland with brand new songs about contemporary life in New England. Bailey’s Mistake’s pulsing sound is driven by bass, drums and guitar and topped off with hearty vocal harmonies and thrilling bagpipe and whistle tunes.

PARK SERIES: YARD SAUCE BAND 2023
PARK SERIES: YARD SAUCE SATURDAY, AUGUST 22 7PM. YARD SAUCE is a Maine-based, acoustic string trio featuring Chris Moore (mandolins and vocals), Jeff Christmas (guitar and vocals) and Callie Brennan (fiddle and vocals). Their dynamic live performances draw from the group’s eclectic musical tastes, diverse regional traditional music influences, and a deep catalog of original songs. Old-time, bluegrass, country and world folk traditions (including traditional Shaker music) are all part of the mix in every live set. The trio trades off on lead vocal and harmony duties, delivering arrangements of traditional and original tunes with their distinctive, down-to-earth authenticity combined with virtuosic instrumental skills.
THE Bruce Marshall GROUP-2026
A cd release party for “Live in Cotuit” their 2nd release on the Verdict music label and ninth overall and celebrating all year long! Copies available for sale. New England Blues Legend Bruce Marshall formed the BRUCE MARSHALL GROUP in 1991. They have been recording and performing steadily all over New England since their inception. Bruce has shared the stage with over 200 national acts, was a former member of The Toy Caldwell Band (formed from members of Marshall Tucker) and toured with Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Outlaws and Charlie Daniels. His 4-man band takes their listeners on a soaring ride through their 6 CD's in addition to putting out a healthy dose of Toy Caldwell songs from the Marshall Tucker catalog. The 2-guitar attack of Bruce Marshall and guitar ace Dave Cournoyer is one of the best in the biz and has been going strong since 1994. The band's rhythm section is anchored by Pete Premo on drums and Andrew Renault on bass.
SETH GALLANT & ROUGH SAWN FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 7PM 2026
Seth Gallant grew up in a mill town in rural Western Maine to a family that played music on the front porch at almost any occasion. These traditions of folk, country, and Acadian music would shape the songs he writes and performs today. He is accompanied by the group, Rough Sawn, who have been performing together since 2015.
Rough Sawn is a Maine-based acoustic bluegrass quartet known for playing a mix of bluegrass, Western swing, and old favorites. Acoustic Country / Bluegrass. The band has featured father and son Nick and Ben Whatley, along with Seth Gallant and Steve Frens. A "talented bluegrassy quartet" that performs both original songs and traditional tunes with essence of roots and folk.
CHAMBER SERIES: Philippa Dunne 2026
An Italian Baroque composer follows his lass to Scotland. Theorist and lutenist Vincenzo Galilei, Galileo’s father, experiments with string lengths and pitches in his basement. The oud lands in Hispania, gains a string, and eventually finds its way into the hands of the trouvères.

2ND STRING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 at 7pm 2026
Hailing from as far away as Waterford and as close as Denmark, 2nd String comes off the bench to deliver a high-impact, low-carbon footprint show at the Arts Center. The group entertains with a mixture of pop, rock, bluegrass, and originals along with a healthy dash of self-deprecation and witty banter. When not working their day jobs, these self-proclaimed Wordle and Heardle masters get together to play ear candy songs a different way each time. Band members regularly switch up vocals and genres, and with a trumpet or fiddle often covering leads, you never know what is coming next. While they may not always agree on who is singing what, 2nd String does promise concert-goers a good time!

Steeplechase came about in the tried and true manner of Irish music bands throughout the centuries, which is to say, at the session. It became clear that these horses could pull in the same direction, and thus a band was born. Three of the four members have connections to Maine, but they all managed to find their way to the northwest corner of the United States. Hanz Araki (flutes, vocals), Zach Bauman (bouzouki), Sam Vogt (guitar, whistle), and David Lofgren (bodhrán) each have long histories in folk music; and while their paths to taking up traditional music may vary wildly, their passion for, and love of this art form is unquestionably shared. Heather, piano and vocals; Shawn Nadeau, bass; and Craig Bryan, drums) shares their interpretation of Vince Guaraldi’s iconic soundtrack of “A Charlie Brown Christmas”, additional Guaraldi compositions, and other holiday favorites.
The musical score for “A Charlie Brown Christmas”, composed by the late Vince Guaraldi and first broadcast in December of 1965, is just as poignant and touching as the story and includes the hugely popular hit “Linus and Lucy”. His gentle jazz riffs established musical trademarks that, to this day, still prompt smiles of recognition. The Heather Pierson Trio performs the entirety of the Charlie Brown Christmas album as recorded by the Vince Guaraldi Trio, as well as other Guaraldi compositions.

Rachel Sumner & Traveling Light are a Boston-based string band making music that blends folk tradition with feminist storytelling, poetic detail, and just enough grit. At the center is Sumner’s songwriting—rooted in history, myth, and personal reckoning—carried by close harmonies, upright bass, acoustic guitar, and fiddle. The duo features Kat Wallace on fiddle and vocals and Rachel Sumner whose playing brings both tension and tenderness to the sound.

SOLD OUT-Barry Manilow was the biggest hit-maker of the 70s and 80s and he is still touring at age 82. We are happy to present his younger prodigy (not really) for this area premiere. John Waldie thrilled audiences last year with his Billy Joel tribute, now he presents 'Barry Me a Little', his take on the man who "wrote the songs that make the young girls cry" (though he didn't write that song - Bruce Johnston of the Beach Boys did.) Don't miss the local 'King of the Keys' as he modulates his way through the Manilow repertoire.

The program continues with two short contemplative pieces by Olafur Arnalds, and concludes with Schubert’s epic “Death and the Maiden,” a passionate dance with death that was only published after Schubert’s own death in 1828.

Hildaland 2025
Orkney (Scotland) born fiddler Louise Bichan and Indiana (USA) mandolinist Ethan Setiawan present a collaboration and meeting of their musical worlds. A path steeped in the fiddle traditions of their respective sides of the Atlantic, the journey taken wends through Scottish, oldtime, and Swedish inspired music intertwined with contemporary compositions. Bichan’s fiddle is a melodic foil to Setiawan’s counterpoint and harmonic depth, and the two weave in and out seamlessly.

Pine Tree Punchlines 2025
Headlining the evening will be the STEVE BJORK with his observations from everyday life. He’s come a long way from the nights of frying up mozzarella sticks in the back room of an obscure comedy club in the Boston suburbs. He was a college student, using that part-time job to study the craft of stand-up comedy by catching glimpses of the performers on stage.
A Christmas Carol with Will Rhys
Mr. Will Rhys returns with his one-man adaptation of Dickens’s magical tale “A Christmas Carol”. Will creates this unique production in which he weaves together the joy of story-telling with his skills as an actor to bring each character vividly to life.

CHAMBER SERIES-Songs From Here with Sarah Tuttle
The Songs From Here initiative was founded in the fall of 2021 and emerged from a desire to engage the wider Maine community with the creation and performance of art song. We aim to create safe and welcoming collaborative environments and increase the visibility of Maine-made music through high-quality performances and hands-on educational programs.
Free Range
Free Range was founded in the fall of 2023 by five local musicians from the Bridgton and surrounding areas: Peter Kimball, on rhythm acoustic guitar and lead vocals, was born and raised on the coast of Maine, and has played and sang since he was 12 years old…he now resides in Standish, ME. Jeanine Loubier, on harmony vocals, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, and guitar, is a multitalented instrumentalist…she hails from the great state of Oklahoma and now resides in Waterford, ME.
